Appointment Policy To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate by appointment. Emergency cases shall receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room. Thank you for choosing Towne and Country Animal Clinic. Our primary mission is to deliver the best and most comprehensive veterinary care available for your pet. An important part of the mission is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our clients as possible by offering several payment options. Towne and Country Animal Clinic requires payment in full at the end of your pet's examination and/or at the time of discharge. New Patients: Each month we see a limited number of new patients to allow time to care for our current patients. New client appointments are made available on the first of each month. We recommend calling early in the month to schedule an appointment. Available Payment Options: Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card We do not accept post dated checks.
Care Credit is available for any treatment amount, but any services totaling $200 or more will receive a promotional period of 6 months at no interest when monthly payments are maintained. Care Credit can be used both in Veterinary Medicine and human medicine. *Subject to credit approval You can apply by calling 1-800-677-0718 or online by clicking here
Pet Insurance: An important option for you to consider for your family and pet is insurance coverage. For clients with pet insurance, we are happy to provide you with the necessary documentation to submit a claim to your insurance carrier. Pet insurance typically requires the owner to pay the bill and then reimburses you directly. We do not handle the finances of the insurance payments. We have seen the success and level of care to be a positive experience for many clients. Insurances range from basic annual care to comprehensive care and can even include diets. Towne and Country Animal Clinic does not work with any insurances and cannot recommend which is best for you, but here are some companies you could start your research with. To learn more please visit any of the following pet insurance websites or do a search for other pet insurances.
Deposit & Billing: For some treatments or hospitalized care, a deposit may be required. Healthcare plans requiring comprehensive care of more than $500 or more, will require a deposit to begin your pets treatment.
Additional Policy Information: Towne and Country Animal Clinic charges $20 for returned checks. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to provide the best veterinary care available for your pet.
Patient Arrival Policy For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
